I’m Steve Tomori and I am an
NYC-based multimedia designer who works with books, photography, and print;
I have a BFA in Design from
Mason Gross School of the Arts and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies.
I believe that all art and stories should be protected, collected and archived. We must be able to look to the past to create a better future. I find inspiration from all that people, places and things have to offer.

Emotional Auroras

In not being able to see or interact with people, I’ve been given the opportunity to focus and reflect on myself and
my emotions. ‘Emotional Auroras’ came from a want to visualize all of the emotions that I have been experiencing lately and to communicate them without words. I wanted to redefine and reimagine what I was experiencing. Color and movement can be evocative of feelings and emotions. What
if these experiences can be shared and expressed amongst one another? I believe that utilizing color and movement can be a universal way to share our feelings, especially given the difficulty we are all facing to express ourselves.
